NEW TYPENEX Barcode Plus BLOOD BANDSOur current and soon to be rolled out CADD pumps for PCAs and Epidurals have an urgent notice concerning the tubing. If your patient has an epidural or PCA assure the pump is flowing correctly before attaching to the patient. During infusion, the pump may look like it is working correctly but may not be. IF your patient is having pain control issues while on a CADD pump, check to see if it is infusing.Correction for this issue: Use a new tubing set
